Our Statement Of Faith
Introduction… The staff at Please keep in mind as you read the following “Statement of Faith” that we base our ministry on the entire volume of the Holy Scriptures and attempt, through the leading of the Holy Spirit, to apply them to all aspects of our ministry and lives. Some of Our Foundational Beliefs… We believe the Bible in its original writings to be the inerrant, inspired, authoritative Word of God (II Timothy 3:15-17, II Peter 1:21). We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in Three Persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30). We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ (John 10:33), in His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:34-35), in His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15, 7:26), in His miracles (John 2:11), in His death as atonement for the sins of all who believe in Him (I Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9), in His bodily resurrection and ascension into Heaven (John 11:25, I Corinthians 15:4, Mark 16:19), and in His pending personal return to earth in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11-16). We believe in the necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the sinfulness of the human nature, and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's grace through faith alone are we saved (John 3:16-19; 5:24, Romans 3:23; 5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10, Titus 3:5). We believe that the Holy Spirit dwells within each believer at the moment of salvation and continues to empower and teach as the believer is yielded more and more completely to God. We also believe in the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit given to build up His body, the church, and in the power he gives us to live in obedience to Him, to witness and make disciples (Romans 8:13-14, I Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20, Ephesians 4:30; 5:18). We believe it is the mandate of the entire Church to go into all the world and to preach the Gospel to, and make disciples of, every living creature. (Mark 16:15, Matthew 28:19-20) We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, and we are committed to spread His Word, bringing encouragement, instruction and inspiration, ministering to the needs of others. We are also committed to a constantly ongoing, growing personal relationship to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, I Corinthians 12:12-13, Galatians 3:26-28).
